Construction Phase Inspections
If you're having a home built, it is important to have your own advocate inspecting the property during the construction process. City inspectors are always weighed down with lots of homes to look at every day and cannot spend the time necessary to find all the deficiencies that we can. Even the builders own "3rd party" inspector who works for the builder will usually be in the home for less than 30 min per inspection. Most of our inspections are over 2 hours in length. I take the appropriate amount of time so that I can find any deficiencies in need of correction so that they can be fixed before the home moves to the next phase of construction.
